Youth Baseball

Early Registration: June 2, 2025 - August 4, 2025

Late Registration: August 5-10, 2024; $10 late registration fee

Season: end-August to end-October

Ages: 5-12

Participants must be between the ages of 5-12 by April 30, 2026

Pre-season practice will be 2 times per week on weekdays at 5:30pm, 6:30pm, or 7:30pm. Younger age groups will practice at the earliest times. Pre-season practices will begin late-August and run to late-September.

Games can be held during the week against teams from Alabaster, Calera, Chelsea, Columbiana, Helena, Jemison, Montevallo, and Pelham. If your age group plays other cities, you will be required to travel to their parks for away games. Some age groups may play in Pelham only. Games run from late-September to the end of October.

Games will be on Mon, Tues, Thurs, or Fri at 6pm, 7:15pm, or 7:30pm. Once games start, each team will be limited to 1 optional practice per week based on availability.

Jersey Fittings: TBA in the Pelham Rec Center Multipurpose Room

If your child's jersey still fits from the last spring/fall season, you do not have to come to this. We will be ordering the same brand of apparel! Please make sure you put down that size on registration.

Team Drafts: TBA, Head Coaches only

Fall baseball will not have an evaluation or picture day.

Parks & Rec provides one game jersey and a hat. Head coaches will decide on the color of pants for their own team. Parks and Rec does not provide pants.

Parents will need to purchase cleats, fielding glove, bat, batting helmet and any other needed playing equipment.

Refunds and Late Registrations: Once uniforms have been ordered we will not be able to refund your registration fee or take late sign-ups.

Registration requests for a specific coach, jersey number, or friend are not guaranteed.
